Adoption Policy

The Midland Pet Adoption Agency asks for an adoption fee for all pets. This fee covers standard innoculations and spaying / neutering. Access to our programs for you and your pet are included in the adoption fee as well.

All pets are examined when they arrive at the MPAA, and their health is routinely monitored while at the shelter. However, there is always a chance that an animal is incubating a disease without showing any clinical signs. Therefore, we have a 30-day trial period for all pet adoptions. We want to be sure that your new pet is healthy and compatible with you, your surroundings, and your lifestyle. If you return a newly adopted pet during the 30-day trail period, the MPAA will credit your adoption fee toward another pet of your choice.
